Lose weight and get in shape! – New years resolution
Jan 17th
http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/WeightLossSuccessStories.htm
Check out these inspirational stories! Is your new years resolution to lose weight and Get In Shape? Its not as tough as you think and I will show you how.
“Diet” is a four letter word, remove it from your vocabulary! If you go ON a diet, you will eventually have to come OFF it and when you do, your weight will rebound .
Make small, doable changes – not epic efforts doomed to failure. Small changes in our nutrition and lifestyle can make a huge difference over a year. For example:
— two slices toast instead of a daily donut – lose 15lbs fat in a year
— soda water instead of a daily coke – lose 15lbs fat in a year
— baked potato instead of daily french fries – lose 40lbs fat in a year
— walk 20 minutes a day – lose 10lbs fat in a year
The beauty of these little changes is that each one is easy but they all add up to make a huge difference. Just promise that you will walk at least 20min a day and choose 2 or 3 of the unhealthy things you eat on a daily basis and replace them with a healthy alternative. Just promise yourself that you will do them for one full month, anybody can live without french fries for one month! Just take it one day at a time, cross the days off on a calendar if you want. A wonderful thing will happen after a month, your new healthy habits will have formed! You will already feel better and have more energy, people will start complimenting you and you will be STOKED! You might even find that you are so excited about how good you feel that you choose to start walking 30min instead of 20minutes for the next month! You might even be inspired to buy a cheap used set of weights and start some strength training. Just take it one month at a time and slowly build upon your success, dont try to do everything all at once.

How do you get V shape ARMS?
Jan 13th
All over the Internet i can only find websites talking about V shape body, No. I want to know how you can get your upper arms to have a V shape cut in them, I dont know if you have to workout your shoulders Or biceps or triceps spefically, my guess is the shoulder muscle more then bicep tricep, but im not sure. Again i want V shape ARMS not body please, dont tell me work out lats lol.
The workout you are looking for is for your deltoids. Biceps and triceps will increase definition, but in order to get the V notch or the diamond in your arm, you would have to isolate your deltoids. There are machines at the gym that would allows you to do this, but I personally think that dumbbells work better and are as good if not better.
Workouts w/ dumbbells
1. Lateral Raises- arms slightly bent and lift dumbbells to about nose level
2. Frontal Raises- Same thing but lift in front of you
3. Arnolds- Sit on an incline bench palms facing towards you and lift rotating your palm to the opposite direction and then bring it back to the original position
4. Bent Over Flys- Don’t recommend too much because it can cause injury if it is done wrong
5. Up Right Rows
6. Shoulder Press

Getting Into Shape After Pregnancy – Tips on After Pregnancy Workouts!
Jan 7th
Looking at the pictures of all these new age ‘celebrity’ moms, I have been amazed at how well they all have got back into shape. It gets me wondering whether they never had to deal with post pregnancy weight gain issues. Maybe miraculously, they didn’t gain any weight after the baby. Doesn’t it get you to feel that you may be one of those ‘unlucky’ women who have generously put on quite a few pounds after your baby? Believe me, you are not unlucky… you are just normal! Getting into shape after pregnancy is an ordeal that every mother goes through – which need not be an ordeal after all, if tackled correctly.
When I was pregnant with my first kid, I had become a voracious reader on all the possible books about pregnancy. I wanted to know every detail about my pregnancy and what to expect. Each and every book promised that I would lose my extra pounds by just breastfeeding my baby. So even when I started getting real big towards the end of my final trimester, I wasn’t worried. I was confident I would lose it. How difficult would it be to lose a few extra pounds? I threw all caution to the wind and happily gulped all the ‘healthy’ food, convincing myself that all the rich food is for my baby.
Well, breastfed I did, but the pounds remained. Nothing changed, not my appearance nor the reading on the weighing scale. I am sure most of you mothers would be able to relate to my experience. To my feeling of being cheated into believing that getting into shape after pregnancy is just a matter of breastfeeding. No my dear, it is not. Then began my ordeal, which every figure-conscious mother would have gone through. Crash diets and hitting the gym with a new vigour. But somehow, the flabbiness does remain. The perfect toned body seemed a distant dream as I was not getting enough time to spend at the gym. I began my research on the web about the various ways of getting back into shape. And then I realised it isn’t as impossible as I felt.
You need not strain yourself; you just need to learn smart exercising. This prevents you from over exhaustion and keeps you energised to give your best for your baby. All it takes is a few minutes of your time, in the privacy of your home. Like I said, getting into shape after pregnancy is not an ordeal after all.
